Welcome to Patcong Valleys Web Photo Gallery!

In June of 2007 a Central RR of NJ Caboose was placed adjacent to our building. Through some great efforts by....this old original CNJ Wood caboose was restored in grand fashion inside and out.

Our layout Contsruction has progressed in the final phases of benchwork construction, and many areas have scenery work well underway.

Our Building has recently been renovated to look a RR Frieght Station.
We have made much progress on the construction of our New Patcong Valley Railraod and are well under way at this time (March 2009). We had to Help renovate the old building, but our dedicated members made short work of the task. Now the layout construction has progressed to the final section of benchwork being constructed and we are building more scenery and we are almost finished wiring the entire layout for DCC. Trains are running in the completed portions of the layout while the remainder is under construction.
Our next open houses are planned for December and January of 2009-2010. See the Link in the sidebar for dates and times.
We are working on the last section of the layout. Scenery work will continue for the next few years.
Progress is being made...

A video train runs around our layout during shows.

This is a billboard on Rt. 40 that advertises the Richland Village project and the Cape May Seashore Lines RR.
We had our final open house at the old location in October of 2004, which was well attended and led to many leads for relocation. Ultimately we chose Richland NJ and we haven't regretted it !

In April of 2006 a Caboose was placed in a new park on Rt 40 in Richland adjacent to our building.
The Town of Richland is really moving forward with its plan to rejuvenate the Rt 40 area of this Township. The Railroad theme is being used wherever possible and it is really coming together!
This is a Photo from our old RR building.
We left behind great memories of an outstanding layout and a facility that would interest most model RR clubs. We had a large layout room(s), and a large meeting room and library. We also had various shops and lots of storage. And who would mind having a  Live Steam Railroad out back !

We moved out of our old Layout building in October 2004.

The property had been sold, and the layout that took 25 years to build came down in a few weeks.

This is a photo of what the RR room of our old layout looked like when the demolition was complete !
Very Depressing !

In Late 2004 we decided to move to Richland NJ, to become part of the Richland Village revitalization The Mayor john Charillo has moved right along with his plans and the RR theme is evident in the Park with the addition of a new caboose in April of 2006!
